SmartSoil is registered in Canada as a soil supplement for use in improving the physical condition of soil. It is a cell-free extract of the microalga Chlorella vulgaris: it contains the metabolites produced during algal growth, and it contains no live organisms and no algae biomass. Performance results are published only when supported by testing that meets Canadian substantiation standards.
Organic input acceptance varies by country and by certifier. Check with your certifier before using SmartSoil on certified organic land.
